Attached to tradition – Committed to the future

The BBI Immobilien AG has emerged from the corporate veil of the long-established  Bürgerliches Brauhaus Ingolstadt AG, which is the oldest incorporated brewery in Germany (since 1882) that is still listed on the stock exchange.

Economic farsightedness and entrepreneurship have formed the solid roots of a commitment to business since the 17th century.
The various historical properties that were taken over in Ingolstadt, Neuburg and Donauwörth originate from that time.  For the main part, these buildings are listed restaurants that have been carefully renovated and which serve the traditional HERRENBRÄU beer.

The BBI Immobilien AG hived off the operational brewery business on 1st January 2003 into the  HERRNBRÄU GmbH & Co. KG. At the same time, the BBI Ingolstadt AG took over the real estate portfolio.  In the year 2006, the name of the company was changed to BBI AG. In addition to wheat beer specialities, HERRNBRÄU is strongly represented in the soft drink segment through its subsidiary „Bernadett Brunnen“.
